In celebration of their 21st year, Spraoi International Street Arts Festival has commissioned a new work from PaperDolls. The production will debut at Spraoi Festival  in Waterford, Bank Holiday weekend, August 2, 3 and 4. The partnership is underpinned by Spraoi Festival’s commissioning fund: Spraoi Create. The new piece will reflect PaperDolls ongoing adventure in a physical and visual multidisciplinary, multi­-textural performance and installation practice which is rooted in our collaborative interest, diverse backgrounds and personal experiences. This new sort of creative production incorporates many minds and many skills and we’re very excited to explore the show and its themes alongside Spraoi and can’t wait to let you know what we’re planning. This will be an outdoor production at Spraoi Festival and will be further developed for performance as an indoor piece at the Project Arts Centre for this year’s Fringe Festival assisted by the Absolut Dublin Fringe Festival ‘Spirit of the Fringe Award’, which PaperDolls received for their production “Constellations” in 2012.
