Creation 2015 is for students of aerial who have a good foundation or are already intermediate/ advanced, who want to perform.
The course runs from March 4th until May bank holiday weekend.

CREATION WILD CARD: For non-aerialists!
There are 12 places available for aerialists and there is one place available to a person of another discipline who wants to be part of the programme.
If you wish to be considered for the Wild Card, you should have advanced skill in a related physical or performative discipline like acting, pole, parkour, gymnastics, yoga, dance – or perhaps you are a brilliant musician or visual artist. You should be able to bring something unusual and other to the group and be willing to contribute knowledge and skill in your area.
The Wild Card position is also partially SUBSIDISED, and can be considered as a creative scholarship.

Emily Aoibheann is an artist & aerialist in love with Dublin. She is artistic director of Dying Breeds performance company & founder/ co-director of PaperDolls Performance Company. She is an award winning artist and performance maker. She is inviting 12 burgeoning aerialists to be part of the first ever ‘Creation’ project, taking place in Dublin, March – May 2015.
Wednesday and Sunday evenings 6.30 – 9pm

Concluding with performance presentations on May bank holiday weekend

Sunday evenings: 6.30 – 9pm
Sunday evenings will be dedicated to creative exploration as a group. We will explore using the equipment, but also be prepared for a lot of game playing, movement research, creative and performative exercises, inventing apparatus, creating choreography and making a creative mess with paints, make-up and costumes. This weekly workshop will open us all to authentic, brave and supportive ways of creating and sharing our performative and visual personalities.
